Pukyong National University will expand cooperation with these companies active in the semiconductor field in Korea and Japan. Based on the university's specialized capabilities, such as the newly established Department of Nano Convergence Semiconductor Engineering next year, the university plans to collaborate with local and overseas companies to nurture convergence talents in advanced fields.

Bitouji, a power semiconductor-related company, has been expanding cooperation with Pukyong National University, following last year's agreement with the College of Engineering, a constituent college of Pukyong National University, and with CEO Shin Jeong-hoon serving as honorary dean of the College of Engineering.

Japan's OXIDE is a company that develops and manufactures optical components used in semiconductors, laser light sources, and optical measurement devices.

Under this agreement, each institution plans to cooperate in ▲ joint research and development such as semiconductor R&D and industry-academia projects ▲ conducting semiconductor workforce training projects and jointly developing curricula reflecting corporate demands ▲ providing educational programs for employee training and job competency improvement.
