KG Mobility announced on the 1st that it will launch the facelifted compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) 'The New Tivoli' with enhanced product appeal.
The Tivoli, first launched in 2015, has been a model that has developed the domestic compact SUV market. The facelifted 'The New Tivoli' features a modern and voluminous bumper design and a sporty-shaped grille. This was intended to express a strong image.
The interior design newly applies a floating type AVN (Audio·Video·Navigation) and a touch-type climate controller. The natural leather seat interior offers three options: a new orange interior package, gray two-tone, and black interior.
The New Tivoli expanded its lineup by powertrain. The 1.5 gasoline turbo engine of The New Tivoli delivers a maximum output of 163ps and a maximum torque of 26.5kg·m. The 1.6 gasoline engine produces a maximum output of 126ps and a maximum torque of 15.8kg·m, with combined fuel efficiencies of 12.0km/ℓ and 11.6km/ℓ, respectively.
The connected car service INFOCONN has also been upgraded. The free usage period for the all-in-one service has been extended from 2 years to 5 years. INFOCONN changed its UI to improve application usability. In addition to the existing services such as ▲remote control ▲safety & security ▲vehicle management ▲information ▲entertainment, it supports the 'My Car Alarm' service.
The New Tivoli (including the Air model) is equipped with active safety technology Deep Control to assist safe driving. It applies a total of 14 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including ▲Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) ▲Forward Collision Warning (FCW) ▲Lane Departure Warning (LDW) ▲Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) ▲Driver Attention Warning (DAW) ▲Safe Distance Warning (SDW) ▲Front Vehicle Start Warning (FVSW) ▲Central Lane Keeping Assist (CLKA).
Especially focusing on safety, it applies the most airbags in its class with seven airbags, including a driver’s knee airbag. Using 79% high-strength steel in the body ensures safety, and with the 4WD system, it can drive stably on any terrain.
A KG Mobility official said, "Since its launch in 2015, the Tivoli has pioneered the compact SUV market with cumulative sales approaching 290,000 units. The newly introduced The New Tivoli is expected to revitalize the stagnant compact SUV market by meeting customer needs and adding cost-effectiveness."
The sales prices of The New Tivoli and The New Tivoli Air (based on reduced individual consumption tax) vary by engine and trim. The 1.6 gasoline model is priced at ▲V1 (A/T) 18.83 million KRW ▲V3 22.44 million KRW. The 1.5 gasoline turbo is ▲V5 22.09 million KRW ▲V7 25.98 million KRW. The New Tivoli Air is ▲A5 22.94 million KRW ▲A7 26.98 million KRW.
