Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk announced on the 31st that it will support card fees to ease the burden on small business owners who are struggling due to rising prices.
The application period is from July 7 to July 4, and the support target is small business owners in the area with annual sales of 300 million KRW or less last year.
The fee support is 0.5% of last year's card sales amount, and up to 300,000 KRW can be received.
Applicants can visit the town, township, or neighborhood office where their business is located within the application period to apply.
After verification of eligibility, the support funds are scheduled to be paid in August.
A city official said, "We hope this support project will provide some help to small business owners who are struggling due to high prices and economic downturn."
