Emart24 Sells Small-Portion Meal Kits... Targeting Single-Person Households

Emart24 announced on the 30th that it will start selling small-portion meal kit products for 1-2 servings from the 1st of next month.

The newly introduced products include tofu doenjang jjigae, soft tofu stew, and potato sujebi, allowing customers to enjoy a meal at an affordable price of 6,000 to 6,500 won.

Emart24 is holding a meal kit discount event this month. For five types of cost-effective small-portion meal kits, two purchases are offered for 10,000 won. Flank steak chops, gambas al ajillo, and mille-feuille nabe are sold for 30,000 won when buying two.

According to Emart24, meal kit sales from March 1 to the 25th of this year increased fivefold compared to the same period last year.

An Emart24 official said, “We have expanded meal kits from about 20 types last year to about 50 types this year and are continuously offering discount benefits through this month’s meal kits. We have introduced small-portion meal kit products so that single-person households can enjoy them without burden.”
