Support for Installation of Security and Insect Screens for 45 Vulnerable Households Including Basic Livelihood Security Recipients and Elderly Living Alone
Support for IOT Facilities for 15 Vulnerable Single Mother and Single-Parent Families... Monitor Home via Mobile Phone
Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) supported the installation of security facilities for vulnerable groups to prevent crime and improve residential environments.
First, the district supported the installation of security and insect screens for 45 vulnerable households including basic livelihood security recipients, elderly living alone, and persons with severe disabilities. The security and insect screens can only be opened and closed from the inside, allowing residents to safely ventilate their homes by opening the front door while keeping the security screen closed.
The district collaborated with LG Uplus to support the installation of crime prevention IOT (Internet of Things) facilities for 15 households of single mother and single-parent families among basic livelihood security recipients.
The provided IOT facility package consists of three types: home CCTV, door sensor, and motion detection sensor. Residents can check the inside of their homes in real time by linking with a mobile phone application. If door opening or movement is detected while absent, an alert is sent and immediate reporting to 112 is possible.
The district plans to actively consider expanding the support scale based on future user satisfaction surveys.
Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, “We will continue to strive to create a safe and convenient living environment for vulnerable residents.”
