LG Electronics Launches Ultra-Fine Ultrasonic Cleanser 'LG Pra.L Washmellow'

LG Electronics announced on the 29th the launch of the 'LG Pra.L Washmelo,' a micro-ultrasonic cleanser optimized for summer skincare.

The LG Pra.L Washmelo is a product that gently massages the facial skin with a brush attached to the product head for cleansing. The brush vibrates approximately 370,000 times per second with micro-ultrasound, shaking the skin's stratum corneum to provide excellent pore cleansing effects while minimizing skin irritation. The brush bristles are arranged in a whirlpool pattern, increasing the contact area with the skin for a more thorough cleanse.

According to an experiment conducted by the 'P&K Skin Clinical Research Center' on 21 adult women, a single wash with the LG Pra.L Washmelo reduced whiteheads and blackheads?sebum clumps inside pores?by about 2.9 times compared to hand washing, and excess sebum was reduced by about 1.6 times. Skin texture improved by approximately 2 times, and skin barrier damage decreased by about 8.9 times. Notably, this product is also effective for the absorption of basic skincare products used after washing. In a cosmetic absorption test conducted on 20 adult women, the absorption rate of a highly concentrated basic skincare ampoule was more than 5 times higher when using the Washmelo compared to hand washing.

The LG Pra.L Washmelo supports an IPX7 (Ingress Protection) waterproof rating, allowing it to withstand depths of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, making it usable during showers or washable with water after cleansing. It has passed safety tests according to the international standard (ISO10993) and U.S. FDA regulations, ensuring safe use.

This product allows vibration intensity to be adjusted in 4 levels according to skin sensitivity. It measures only 10.8 cm in length and weighs 180 g, and can be used for up to 5 months on a single charge (based on once daily use for 70 seconds), making it convenient to carry while traveling.

The LG Pra.L Washmelo is available for purchase on the Pra.L exclusive online brand mall and at the DermaCera pop-up store operated at Seoul Collabo House Dosan until the 23rd of next month. The product price is set at 159,000 KRW based on shipment price.
