On Monday the 29th, the last day of the holiday, the weather will be mostly cloudy nationwide with rain expected in the southern regions and Jeju Island. Rain is expected until the morning in the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon Province, until the afternoon in the Chungcheong region, and until nighttime in the Gyeongbuk region.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the expected precipitation amounts are 30?80 mm in the southern regions and Jeju Island (until the 30th), 20?60 mm in southern Gyeonggi, central and southern inland Gangwon, Gangwon mountain areas, Chungcheong region, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, and 5?40 mm in Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, northern inland Gangwon, and the Gangwon East Coast. In southeastern Gyeonggi, showers of around 5 mm are expected in the afternoon.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 16 and 21 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 19 and 30 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the influence of precipitation.
There may be gusts of wind along with thunder and lightning over the Yellow Sea, South Sea, and East Sea, so caution is advised for maritime safety.
Sea waves are expected to be 0.5?1.0 m in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5?1.5 m in the Yellow Sea nearshore, and 0.5?1.5 m in the South Sea nearshore. In the offshore areas (approximately within 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5?2.0 m in the East Sea and 0.5?2.5 m in the Yellow Sea and South Sea.
