Lee Gijae, Yangcheon District Mayor, Attends Opening Ceremony of Youth Complex Cultural Space ‘Yangcheon Orang’

Lee Gijae, Mayor of Yangcheon District, attended the opening ceremony of the youth complex cultural space ‘Yangcheon Orang’ on the afternoon of the 26th.

Located in Omok Waterfront Park, a high foot traffic area, ‘Yangcheon Orang’ is a two-story building with a total area of 386㎡. Inside, it is equipped with various facilities including a shared lounge, counseling room, shared kitchen, study rooms, meeting rooms, a multipurpose room, and a lounge.

The facility is available to Seoul youth aged 19 to 39, operating from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

Additionally, it plans to offer specialized programs such as web novel training vocational education, special lectures for youth, and busking lectures.

At the opening ceremony, Mayor Lee Gijae carefully inspected the facility and stated, “We will continue to support Yangcheon Orang as a platform to strengthen the capabilities of our youth, helping them become proactive agents of policy.”
