Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) announced on the 25th that it opened the doors of Jungnang Happiness 4 Farm located in Myeonmok-dong and held an opening ceremony.

Jungnang Happiness 4 Farm is a pear tree-exclusive farm with a total area of 6,826㎡, consisting of 160 trees. The district plans to distribute pear trees to residents and provide children with opportunities for farm experience learning.

The opening ceremony was held with about 200 Jungnang-gu residents in attendance and proceeded in the order of pear tree management education, congratulatory performances, a report on the progress of the farm establishment, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a facility tour. The ‘Pear Bagging’ event, wishing for a bountiful pear harvest this year, also attracted attention.

Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “I hope everyone who visits the farm feels nature through urban agriculture, gains energy, and has a healing time,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to make Jungnang-gu the best autonomous district for urban agriculture.”
