Com2uS Invests in GameTales, Developer of New Project TS

Com2uS announced on the 24th that it has made a Series A investment in the promising game developer GameTales.

GameTales is currently developing ‘Project TS,’ a AAA-grade massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). Based on the publishing contract signed with Com2uS in January, GameTales will be responsible for service in Korea and global regions. The team consists of excellent personnel, including CEO Jung Seong-hwan, a game developer and writer, as well as experts who have participated in well-known MMORPG projects.

Project TS features various differentiating points such as graphics using the latest Unreal Engine 5, a solid worldview, and maximized competitive play. The artwork is overseen by AD Jung Jun-ho, the illustrator of Lineage 2, based on four novels written by CEO Jung Seong-hwan. It is planned to support multiple platforms including PC and consoles, based on mobile.

The Series A investment round included KIP-Krit Interactive Content Fund and K-Net-Krit Content Fund, formed by Krit Ventures, a venture capital affiliated with Com2uS, as well as KB Investment.

A Com2uS official stated, "Project TS has garnered high expectations from many game fans since the development stage, based on excellent professional development capabilities and various differentiating points," adding, "We will strengthen the strategic partnership between the two companies through investment in GameTales."
