Chosun University 'Visiting Career Planning Special Lecture' Gains Popularity

The ‘Visiting Employment and Career Planning Special Lecture’ conducted by Chosun University Career Plus Center is gaining popularity. It is a lecture that directly visits students to inform them about employment and career paths.

Since April, the Chosun University Career Plus Center has been conducting the ‘Visiting Employment and Career Planning Special Lecture.’ This special lecture, which runs until the 31st, targets freshmen who enrolled in March.

The lecture is popular as it provides explanations about employment and career paths, promotes the Career Plus Center, and informs students about benefits and systems available to them. In particular, from this year, applications for customized employment services for current students, newly introduced, are also being accepted.

The Career Plus Center has conducted special lectures in 74 departments so far, including the Department of Biology Education, Department of Civil Engineering, Department of European Language and Culture, and Department of Performing Arts Dance.

This special lecture is expected to serve as an important stepping stone for students who have vague ideas about employment and career paths even after entering university, enabling them to make concrete plans and prepare for employment.

Lee Gyehaeng, director of the Chosun University Career Plus Center, said, “By actively supporting the promotion of career and employment support programs and youth employment policies to local youth and current students, we expect to play a significant role in revitalizing youth employment.”
