Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Science University Holds Employment Competency Enhancement Camp

The Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology conducted a 'Job Competency Enhancement Camp' for fourth-year students on the 13th and 20th to help them succeed in employment.

The camp was divided into employment lectures and mock interview programs. The employment lectures covered topics such as stable speech methods using a healthy voice, the three stages of interview preparation, and tips for writing a versatile self-introduction letter.

For the mock interviews, a current hospital nursing department head was invited to conduct practical interviews focusing on personality and nursing job competencies, providing personalized feedback to each student.

A student who participated in the camp said, “I felt overwhelmed preparing for employment, but this camp was beneficial as I was able to acquire useful job skills,” adding, “It was a great opportunity to learn how to write a self-introduction letter that can be practically applied through specific examples.”

The Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology received a 5-year accreditation in the third cycle of nursing education accreditation evaluation conducted by the Korean Accreditation Board of Nursing Education and was also selected as an excellent educational case institution in the ‘2019 Nursing College Clinical Practice Education Support Project’ hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
