This meeting was promoted as a follow-up measure to the "Plan to Establish a New Digital Order" reported by the Ministry of Science and ICT to the State Council on the 2nd. The Ministry shared the main contents of the "Plan to Establish a New Digital Order" with the attendees. Based on deepening digital issues, it explained the direction of promotion, including the values and principles that should be included in the "Digital Bill of Rights." The role and function of the "Digital Public Forum," a communication platform for the new digital order, were also introduced. Opinions were expressed that the voices of the MZ generation, a key axis in shaping public opinion in our society recently, should be reflected in the "Digital Public Forum," and that relevant ministries should participate together by issue to discuss practical alternatives for problem-solving.

Chairman Yeom Jae-ho stated, "Endless issues such as copyright problems caused by ChatGPT and labor relations between platform companies and workers demand new orders and norms," adding, "At this turning point of civilization, we will gather social consensus through the Consultative Body to quickly establish a new digital order."

Vice Minister Park Yoon-gyu said, "Under the direction that the private sector leads overall discussions while the government supports, we will create various opportunities for discussion and communication such as seminars and forums related to deepening digital issues."
