Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) announced on the 24th that it will hold a policy forum to expand the supply of land lease-type sale housing together with Assemblymen Ahn Cheol-soo and Kim Byung-wook, and the Korean Housing Environment Association at 2 p.m. on the 26th in the main conference room of the National Assembly Members' Office Building.
This forum is a follow-up event to the "Forum on Revitalizing Land Lease-Type Sale Housing - Focusing on the Supply Case of Goduk Gangil 3 Land Lease-Type Sale Housing" held at the National Assembly on March 20. It was organized to analyze the necessity of expanding the supply of land lease-type sale housing and to suggest related policy directions.
The forum will begin with a presentation titled "Policy Suggestions for Expanding the Supply of Building Sale (Land Lease-Type) Housing" by Professor Kim Sun-joo of Kyonggi University, the academic committee chair of the Korean Housing Environment Association, followed by discussions among six experts from various fields in real estate.
Professor Lee Young-sung of Seoul National University will serve as the chair, with panelists including Professor Ban Young-woon of Chungbuk National University, Senior Researcher Sung Jin-wook of SH Corporation, Professor Lee Ho-jin of Jeju National University, Research Director Jang In-seok of the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements, Team Leader Kim Byung-guk of the Korea Housing Finance Corporation, and reporter Kim Kyung-gi of MBN.
Kim Heon-dong, President of SH Corporation, stated, "Expanding the supply of building sale (land lease-type) housing is very important for the housing stability and welfare of the ten million citizens of Seoul," adding, "SH Corporation plans to make every effort to supply more building sale housing in better locations to realize the housing stability and homeownership dreams of young people and citizens without homes."
