Yanolja Partners with Korea Railroad Corporation to Boost Railway Travel

Up to 50% Discount When Purchasing KTX and Domestic Accommodation Together

Yanolja announced on the 24th that it is collaborating with Korea Railroad Corporation to offer discount benefits when purchasing KTX and domestic accommodations together.

Yanolja and Korea Railroad Corporation are participating in the '2023 Travel Month' campaign hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization to contribute to the recovery of daily life and the local economy through travel. From 10 a.m. on this day until June, customers who purchase KTX and domestic accommodations together will receive up to a 50% combined discount. This applies to tickets for rides between June 1 and July 16.

Yanolja has also prepared an exclusive promotion. Customers who pay 50,000 KRW or more for KTX, excluding the combined discount benefits, will receive Yanolja points worth 2,000 KRW.

Since 2020, Yanolja has been encouraging railway travel for regional coexistence by collaborating with Korea Railroad Corporation to introduce ticket reservation services. Starting with KTX, the services have been continuously expanded to include ITX-Saemaeul and Mugunghwa trains. From June 2021 to last month, 79.3% of domestic accommodations purchased together with KTX over the past two years were in non-metropolitan areas. In particular, cities focusing on the tourism industry such as Busan (32.6%), Gangwon (15.7%), and Jeonnam (8.6%) accounted for a high proportion.

Shin Sung-chul, Head of Business Development Unit at Yanolja, said, "Through this 'Travel Month' campaign, we will support the activation of domestic tourism to lead to the recovery of the local economy," adding, "We plan to continue working with Korea Railroad Corporation to provide differentiated experiences and benefits to railway travelers."
