IBK Investment & Securities Undertakes Organizational Restructuring... Establishes New Digital Transformation Division

IBK Investment & Securities announced on the 22nd that it has carried out its first organizational restructuring since the appointment of CEO Seo Jeong-hak.

This restructuring focuses on ▲ promoting Digital Transformation ▲ strengthening its position as a securities firm specialized in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) ▲ expanding synergies with IBK Financial Group, financial institutions, and corporate clients.

First, to enhance customer convenience, a dedicated business division, the DT Division, was newly established. The company plans to strengthen the competitiveness of HTS and MTS and accelerate internal work efficiency through the establishment of a smart work system.

The existing Investment Banking (IB) business division will be reorganized into the IB Division and the SME Solutions Division. The IB Division will be responsible for real estate project financing (PF) operations, while the newly established SME Solutions Division will contribute to building a differentiated business model as a securities firm specialized in SMEs. Additionally, an SME Support Department will be newly established to support business succession, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) consulting, and new business for SMEs.

Furthermore, a Synergy Promotion Department, which oversees synergy operations within IBK Financial Group, was also newly established. The existing Private Equity Fund Management Department will be elevated to a headquarters level to strengthen collective investment operations.
