Fire Ignited from Charging Toy Car... Spread to House

A fire broke out from a toy car that was charging inside the house and spread throughout the home.

A fire broke out in the battery of a toy car that was charging at an apartment in Juwol-dong, Nam-gu, Gwangju, around 8:30 a.m. on the 21st, and was extinguished within 10 minutes.

According to the Gwangju Nambu Fire Station on the 22nd, a fire occurred at an apartment in Juwol-dong, Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City at around 8:30 a.m. the previous day and was extinguished within 10 minutes.

There were no casualties from the fire, but an area of 5㎡ inside the house, along with a chair and wallpaper, was burned, and 105㎡ was scorched, resulting in property damage estimated by the fire department at approximately 4.26 million KRW.

The fire department is investigating the exact cause of the fire, which is believed to have started from the battery of the toy car that was charging.
