At the Hotel Rooftop, a Beekeeping Area Instead of a Bar... Desserts Featuring Honey Harvested On-site in the Menu

DoubleTree by Hilton Pangyo, 'Honeybee Apiary' Project

DoubleTree by Hilton Seoul Pangyo announced on the 22nd that it will continue its social value activities by establishing a beekeeping site on the hotel rooftop in celebration of 'World Bee Day.'


DoubleTree by Hilton Seoul Pangyo utilized its geographical advantage, encompassing the natural environment from the nearby acacia forest to Tancheon Stream, to create an 'urban beekeeping site' on the hotel rooftop. The honey harvested here will be used to introduce special menu items. This initiative aims to provide a safe haven for bees to live amid the global decline in bee populations caused by recent climate change.

The newly launched menu includes a total of six items: honey cheesecake, honey & milk panna cotta, honey pancakes, Greek yogurt & honey, honey bread, and gorgonzola cheese pizza & honey. All honey used in the menu is harvested directly by the hotel.


A representative of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel stated, "We want to make our guests' stay even sweeter with menus containing honey that we directly keep and harvest," adding, "We will continue to expand urban beekeeping and participate in creating a sustainable society."
