Ryukyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, is taking a commemorative photo in front of the fully bloomed roses.

Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) is beautifully decorating the area around Jungnangcheon with the ‘2023 Seoul Rose Festival,’ which is emerging as a hotspot for life shots, attracting a continuous stream of visitors.

This year’s Seoul Rose Festival, truly passionate about roses, has planted a rich variety of 200 rose species, creating a stunning spectacle of ten million blooming roses.

Since the festival’s opening on the 13th, visitors have been gathering to enjoy and make memories at Surimdae Rose Garden, Mukdongcheon Rose Garden, and Junghwa Sports Park.

Also, the highlight of the festival, the 5.45km Rose Tunnel, continues to draw endless foot traffic from visitors.

Not only during the daytime, when roses can be admired against the blue sky, but also in the evening, when colorful lights illuminate the roses creating an even more magnificent scene, visitors flock to capture their life shots.

From the 19th to the 21st, the ‘Grand Rose Festival’ took place, featuring various musical performances against the backdrop of the splendid ten million roses.

Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “The beautiful spectacle covered with ten million roses will offer joyful memories to everyone visiting the Seoul Rose Festival,” and added, “We ask for your continued interest until the last day of the festival.”

The ‘2023 Seoul Rose Festival’ will continue until the 28th. Especially on the 27th and 28th, during the ‘Gyeomjae Rose Festival’ period, a Rose Trot Concert and Gyeomjae Bridge Dance Festival will be held near Gyeomjae Bridge, marking the grand finale of the festival.
