Acklo (ACKLO) Showcases Eco-Friendly Advertising Platform at National Assembly MWC Exhibition

Ingeo, a startup specializing in advertising technology for the Earth and sustainable environment, led by CEO Kwon In-young of ACKLO, participated in the 'National Assembly Mobile Technology Expo (MWC 2023) Exhibitor Showcase.'

The exhibition, held from May 15 to 16, was organized to revisit the outstanding technologies of Korean companies that participated in MWC 2023, which took place from February 27 to March 2 in Barcelona, Spain. This exhibition, jointly planned by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Assembly Science, ICT, Broadcasting and Communications Committee, was held under the theme 'Dreaming the Future of ICT.' A total of 21 companies, including large corporations and specialized innovative startups like ACKLO, participated, showcasing a variety of platforms, services, content, software, and devices that embody cutting-edge technologies driving the future of the industry.

ACKLO attracted visitors’ attention at the exhibition by presenting its eco-friendly advertising platforms, 'ACKLO Ssonda' and 'ACKLO Meta.' These platforms utilize information and communication technology (ICT) and floating population data to contribute to reducing carbon emissions while providing sustainable advertising solutions. ACKLO’s commitment to eco-friendliness extends to rewarding platform participants who actively engage in reducing carbon emissions through the use of ICT and floating population data.

At the National Assembly MWC exhibition, CEO Kwon In-young introduced the domestic and international competitiveness of the ACKLO platform and highlighted ACKLO’s ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) solution technologies centered on eco-friendly practices and universal design principles.

One notable feature of the ACKLO platform ‘ACKLO Ssonda’ is its use of artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze floating population data. This enables efficient advertising exposure to target customers, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional paper-based advertising methods. By replacing flyers with digital alternatives, companies and small business owners can significantly reduce carbon emissions. Additionally, ACKLO uses vision AI to measure the reduction in carbon emissions relative to the floating population exposed to advertisements.

A distinctive aspect of ‘ACKLO Ssonda’ is that individuals actively participate in the advertising process. Users of the ‘ACKLO Ssonda’ platform, called ‘Ssonda Walkers,’ can earn revenue by walking in designated areas and exposing advertisements from advertisers. This innovative approach creates a more sustainable and engaging advertising experience through users’ participation in carbon reduction activities.

ACKLO’s participation in the National Assembly MWC exhibition demonstrated to government officials and other industry leaders the strength of the ‘ACKLO Ssonda’ platform, which combines eco-friendly practices, advanced technology, and a focus on reducing carbon emissions to build a more sustainable future.
