Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province recently held a workshop for teams selected for the ‘Haman Youth Entrepreneur Sustainable Growth Support Project’ at the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education Comprehensive Welfare Center located in Goseong-gun.
The workshop, held from the 11th to the 12th, aimed to strengthen entrepreneurial capabilities through presentations by senior entrepreneurs and the ‘Human Library’ program, as well as to enhance communication, unity, and resource linkage among startup teams to build a stronger network.
The instructors participating in the Human Library included the CEO of Thanks Clay, the CEO of Nangman Workshop, the CEO of Stone Cooperative, and the CEO of the Regional Cultural Contents Research Institute Social Cooperative, providing an opportunity for youth to further enhance their capabilities through the experiences of senior entrepreneurs.
The seven teams received their startup team selection certificates in April and will officially enter the startup and social economy enterprise phase through mentoring and specialized education.
Additionally, in June, they plan to participate in the Busan International Food Expo and the Korea Social Economy Fair to learn practical skills such as sales strategies and booth setup.
A county official stated, “We are putting more effort into strengthening the capabilities of startup teams through this workshop. We will devote ourselves to this project, which will lay the foundation for creating a youth startup ecosystem in Haman.”
