Recently, with the increase in the pet population, various issues such as dog bite incidents have occurred, along with growing interest in coexistence between humans and animals and harmonious living environments. In response, Gwangsan-gu organized this event.

About 700 citizens living with dogs attended the lecture, showing high interest.

Based on various cases and training experiences he has encountered, Trainer Kang talked about "petiquette" and a mature pet culture where both pet owners and non-pet owners can happily live together.

In a talk show format, he listened to citizens' questions and problems experienced while living with dogs and had a time of communication by answering them.

Participating citizens said, "It was good to have an opportunity to correct misconceptions about dogs that I had until now," and "I hope such lectures are held regularly."

Park Byung-gyu, head of Gwangsan-gu Office, said, "30% of the entire population of our country lives with pets, and the number of households raising pets is increasing in Gwangsan-gu as well," adding, "We will actively promote policies to create a happy urban environment for both pets and pet owners, centered on the newly established Pet Policy Team."
