Lee Jae-yong Returns from US Business Trip... Exchanges with Global CEOs

The Longest Period Since 2014

Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong returned to Korea on the 12th after a 22-day business trip to the United States.

This trip is the longest overseas business trip since he took full control of management in 2014. Chairman Lee departed for the U.S. on the 20th of last month as part of President Yoon Suk-yeol's economic delegation to the United States.

It is reported that Chairman Lee met with more than 20 CEOs of global companies such as Google, Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, and Nvidia during his stay in the U.S. They appear to have shared mid- to long-term visions with global CEOs and explored ways to cooperate to lead future industries.

Chairman Lee exchanged opinions with global artificial intelligence (AI) experts and also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation with Samsung Electronics.

He met with employees of the North American sales corporation to check the status of the global supply chain and emphasized, "The starting point is not important. Bold and persistent challenges determine success or failure," adding, "Let's carry the semiconductor success DNA forward into the bio legend."
