Saewool Nuclear Power Plant Donates 10 Million KRW for Neighboring Seniors' 'Hyo Dream' Project

At Ulju Southern Senior Welfare Center, 'May Love Fragrance, Thankful Filial Piety' Event Held

Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Head: Jo Seok-jin) gave a ‘filial piety (孝) gift’ to elderly neighbors.

To commemorate Parents' Day, Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters held the event “May 愛 Fragrance, Thankful 孝” on the 12th at the Ulju-gun Southern Senior Welfare Center, where Head Jo Seok-jin generously donated sponsorship funds for the ‘Mobile 孝 Dream’ program.

Jo Seok-jin, Head of Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters (second from the right), is delivering a 10 million won donation for the Mobile Hyo Dream at the Nambu Senior Welfare Center in Ulju-gun on the 12th.

The event featured various side programs including a kalimba performance, fortune-telling experience, traditional Korean medicine consultation, and woodworking experience. The elderly attendees enjoyed a joyful time along with the sponsorship funds.

Jo Seok-jin, head of Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, “We spent time with the elderly reflecting once again on the meaning of filial piety,” adding, “We are always grateful for the support the local elderly have given to Saewool Headquarters, and we will continue to take the lead in promoting regional coexistence and the culture of sharing.”

Saewool Headquarters also participated in an event held on the 10th at the Ulju-gun Western Senior Welfare Center, delivering sponsorship funds and engaging in volunteer activities.
