Meta unveiled its generative artificial intelligence (AI) marketing tool, ‘AI Sandbox,’ on the 12th.
AI Sandbox is a generative AI-based marketing tool that automatically creates various content needed for marketing campaigns. It automatically generates multiple versions of copy and produces background images from text input alone. It can also automatically reprocess marketing materials to be optimized for vertical content such as Reels and Stories.

Starting with a pilot operation for some marketers, Meta plans to incorporate various feedback as well as functions needed in practical work. The availability will gradually expand from the second half of this year.
AI-based commerce tools are also being updated to improve marketing experience. Last year, Meta integrated all AI and machine learning-based solutions into ‘Meta Advantage’ to enable companies and brands to more easily use Meta’s various automated marketing tools.
New AI-based marketing solutions will also be introduced. From now on, with just one click, campaigns can be switched to AI-based automated campaigns called ‘Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns.’ This simplifies various manual tasks required for campaign setup while enabling the display of highly relevant content to more appropriate people. Meta is also testing ‘Advantage+ Audience,’ which uses AI to enhance targeting. In addition, a dashboard is provided to compare the performance of AI-based campaigns with that of regular manual campaigns. In the future, support will be provided to utilize photos and videos as automated campaign materials.
