Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 12th that LH President Lee Han-jun received the ‘Service Excellence Award’ CEO category from the Korean Service Management Society. He is the only CEO from a public institution to receive this award.
The Service Excellence Award honors the achievements of corporate or public institution executives who have contributed to service management.
President Lee was highly recognized for his efforts to eliminate blind spots in housing welfare and improve the quality of housing services through citizen-centered housing services.
In particular, last year, by operating 52 ‘Relocation Support 119 Centers’ nationwide, he helped 7,306 residents upgrade their housing by providing consultations on available rental housing, linking community welfare services, and supporting moving expenses and daily necessities for residents living in irregular accommodations such as small rooms.
Additionally, a community-based care service was provided to approximately 7,700 single elderly households aged 80 or older living in national rental housing in the metropolitan area, offering health status checks, housing safety inspections, and rental housing information, discovering about 2,100 people who were in care blind spots.
The non-face-to-face online rental housing application service, ‘MyMy Service,’ was piloted at Wanju Samnye A-1BL (Happy Housing) in Jeonbuk, greatly enhancing the convenience of application submissions. This year, it will be expanded to all types of rental housing.
Lee Han-jun, President of LH, said, “Along with improving housing quality such as expanding average floor area, we will continue to strive as a leading institution in housing welfare by qualitatively enhancing housing services to build a dense and warm housing safety net.”
