Incheon Middle School Student Forced Peers to Get 20cm Carp Tattoo

Sent to Prosecution for 'Coercion and Violation of Medical Law'

A teenager who threatened a peer middle school student and forcibly tattooed a roughly 20cm design at a lodging facility was caught by the police.

On the 11th, Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station booked the teenager, identified as A, without detention on charges of coercion and violation of the Medical Service Act, according to Yonhap News Agency.

A is accused of threatening peer middle school student B at a motel in Incheon last October and forcibly tattooing a 22cm long and 11cm wide carp design on B's thigh.

After receiving a complaint from B's parents, the police launched an investigation and applied coercion charges against A, concluding that A forcibly tattooed B.

Performing tattoo procedures by non-medical personnel without a doctor's license is also illegal.

The victim, B, told the police, "I didn't want to get the tattoo, but A, who has been hitting me and extorting money for two years, coerced me as an experiment subject."

B explained, "If A's tone was strange, he would hit me asking why my tone was like that," and added, "I endured it because I didn't want to get hit."

A denied the allegations during the police investigation, claiming, "B wanted it and gave consent to get the tattoo."

The police are also investigating another complaint from the parents of a student who recently received a goblin tattoo on the chest and arm under A's coercion. This student is reportedly receiving psychiatric treatment with their family due to A's bullying.

A police official stated, "After investigations of both sides, we applied charges including coercion against A and sent the case to the prosecution. The case involving other classmates is still under investigation."

However, it is reported that A denies all charges including coercion and assault.
