'Korea's No.1' Park Minji "Aiming for 3 Consecutive Wins in a Single Tournament" Park Min-ji aims for a third consecutive victory at the NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship.

Park Min-ji is gradually improving her condition. She has appeared in four tournaments this season and finished in the top 10 twice. Before this tournament, Park participated in the World Ladies Championship Salonpas Cup, a major on the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association (JLPGA) Tour known for its challenging course setup, to fine-tune her shot feel. The news that daytime temperatures will rise significantly during the tournament is welcome for Park Min-ji, who does not favor cold weather. She is determined to mark her first win of the season with a meaningful three-peat at this event.

Park Min-ji said, "It is an honor to challenge such a great record," adding, "I am even more eager because this tournament, where I am attempting this record, is hosted by my main sponsor, NH Investment & Securities." She continued, "My condition and shot feel are not bad, but I feel like I am lacking about 2%, so I am working to improve that part. I think it will soon be fulfilled, and I hope it happens at this tournament."

Lee Da-yeon, who won the major KLPGA Championship last week, is also a contender. She skipped last week’s Kyochon Ladies Open to rest and prepare for this tournament. Additionally, Park Ji-young, who ranks first in prize money, Lee So-young, the top candidate for the Player of the Year award, Lee Ye-won, the domestic season opener champion, and Park Hyun-kyung, ranked third in prize money, are all aiming for the top spot. Lee Bo-mi, who holds a lifetime KLPGA Tour card, will appear in a domestic tournament for the first time in six months since the final event of last November, the SK Shieldus·SK Telecom Championship.
