Daejeon Expo Aquarium_O-World Signs MOU, Package Sales Scheduled from May 12 [Daejeon Expo Aquarium and O-World MOU Agreement]

Recently, Daejeon Expo Aquarium (CEO Jung Sumi) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with O-World to promote corporate social responsibility and mutual growth between the two organizations.

They agreed to create a sustainable ecosystem and jointly promote ECR (ESG Compliance Review) marketing campaigns such as animal protection initiatives.

The signing ceremony held on the 9th at Daejeon O-World was attended by Jung Sumi, CEO of Daejeon Expo Aquarium, Han Sangheon, Director of Daejeon Urban Corporation O-World, along with key executives and related personnel.

Additionally, marketing efforts based on both companies’ online and offline platforms will be expanded, and package ticket sales are scheduled to begin on May 12.

Daejeon Expo Aquarium was designed to protect various mammals and rare marine creatures while providing natural biological education. Rare species are digitally recreated through digital media art. The aquarium features a 4,200-ton tank exhibiting over 20,000 animals from about 250 species, and visitors can experience a three-dimensional view through an underwater tunnel stretching 40 meters.

Moreover, Daejeon O-World is composed of themed zones including ‘Zoo Land and Flower Land, as well as Joy Land, Bird Land, and Night Universe,’ making it the largest theme park in the central and southern regions where families can enjoy together.

Through this MOU, both parties plan to operate exhibitions aimed at promoting the welfare of marine life and zoo animals for visitors.

In this regard, Jung Suhyeon, Director of Daejeon Expo Aquarium, explained, “We plan to continue collaboration to create a complex cultural space where people and animals can coexist, and provide various benefits to visitors through joint marketing.”
