Which Used Cars Do Koreans Love?‥Men Prefer 'Benz S', Women 'Benz C'

The most sought-after German used car among Koreans was found to be the 'Benz E-Class.'

According to KB Capital on the 5th, an analysis of sales inquiry data for German used cars on the used car trading platform KB ChaChaCha from April last year to March this year revealed that the 'Benz E-Class' ranked first in the number of inquiries.

It was followed by the 'BMW All-New 5 Series,' 'BMW New 3 Series,' 'BMW GT,' and 'Audi NEW A6.'

Considering that last year's German new car sales ranking was 'Benz E-Class,' 'BMW 5 Series,' 'Benz S-Class,' 'Audi A6,' and 'BMW X5,' the 'BMW New 3 Series' and 'BMW GT' vehicles were relatively more preferred in the used car market.

By age group, the highest inquiry ratio for those in their 20s was the 'BMW New 3 Series (24.1%),' for those in their 30s it was the 'BMW GT (38.2%),' and for those in their 40s and 50s, the 'Benz S-Class' accounted for 41.3% and 26.7%, respectively.

By gender, among men, the order was 'Benz New S-Class (96.4%),' 'BMW GT (94.7%),' and 'BMW All-New 5 Series (94.2%),' while among women, the highest inquiry ratios were for the 'Benz The New C-Class (16.8%),' 'BMW New 1 Series (14.6%),' and 'Benz GLC (12.1%).'
