A man in his 30s was arrested by the police on suspicion of drunk driving for about 20km in the city late at night.
On the 5th, the Gwanak Police Station in Seoul announced that they had apprehended a man in his 30s, Mr. A, on charges of drunk driving.
Mr. A is suspected of drunk driving for about 20km from Seogyo-dong to his home in Sillim-dong on the 1st. The police responded to a 112 report suspecting drunk driving and arrived near his residence.
When the police requested a breathalyzer test, Mr. A reportedly attempted to flee. When the officers physically blocked him, he resisted.
The breathalyzer test showed that Mr. A's blood alcohol concentration was over 0.1%, which is the level for license cancellation.
A police official stated, "Mr. A will be sent to the prosecution soon."
