To create a safe festival without a single accident, the county completed three rounds of on-site inspections in April prior to this inspection.
On the 26th of last month, a safety measures and traffic management inspection meeting was held, chaired by the vice county head, to recheck the roles and preparation status of related organizations.
On that day, County Head Lee personally walked the festival site with staff, meticulously checking the surrounding environment and potential hazards. From the visitors' perspective, he thoroughly examined the main movement routes around Chuseong Stadium, traffic routes, and safety-vulnerable areas, discussing and supplementing any shortcomings.
Lee Byeong-no emphasized, “Since this is the first festival held in four years and the first time using the Dambit Music Hall as the main venue, visitor safety must be prioritized above all.” He also instructed, “Along with safety, please promote the festival as a clean, eco-friendly event that highlights the ecological city character of Damyang.”
