Sancheong-gun Participates in Daegu EXCO Expo with 8 Specialty Product Direct-Trade Farms

Clean and excellent agricultural products from Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, are reaching consumers nationwide.

Sancheong-gun will participate in the "9th Korea Representative Specialty Products Direct Trade Expo" held at Daegu EXCO from the 4th to the 7th.

The participating farms include ▲ Jirisan Herb Obok Farm ▲ Sancheong Jirisan Herb Agricultural Cooperative Corporation ▲ Agricultural Corporation Bonghwang ▲ Jaemori Farm ▲ Haneunggol Oseon Farm ▲ Sancheong Mushland ▲ Areum Nuri Agricultural Cooperative Corporation ▲ Honghwawon, totaling eight farms.

These farms plan to introduce excellent agricultural products grown in the clean environment at the foot of Jirisan in Sancheong to visitors nationwide.

In particular, Sancheong-gun intends to focus not only on promoting excellent agricultural products through this expo but also on developing sales channels for farms and increasing farm income.

A county official said, “We will continue to widely promote Sancheong, the hometown of Cheonwangbong Peak of Jirisan, and actively promote the excellent agricultural products produced in Sancheong. Through local food direct trade markets, we will strive to revitalize direct trade of agricultural and specialty products and diversify distribution and promotion channels to help increase farm income.”

Meanwhile, the Korea Representative Specialty Products Direct Trade Expo is hosted by the Korea Exhibition Industry Agency, with participation from cities and provinces nationwide, operating about 400 booths.
