The Korea Ceramic Foundation is recruiting partner companies to participate in its ceramic cup distribution project.
On the 2nd, the Korea Ceramic Foundation announced that it will open applications until the 17th to find partners who will help promote an eco-friendly ceramic culture in daily life and support the expansion of ceramic artists' sales channels by distributing customized ceramic cups to public institutions nationwide, including Gyeonggi-do, in line with the 'Gyeonggi-do Ordinance on Reducing the Use of Disposable Products.'
Eligible partner companies must have business locations within the province and include five kilns capable of mass-producing mugs and one company capable of designing and printing ceramic decal transfers.
The foundation will select partners through document screening by internal and external experts, evaluating product quality and productivity.
Selected partners will sign an agreement with the foundation in June and produce and deliver products ordered by the foundation. Payment will be made by the foundation according to the order quantity.
Detailed information can be found on the Korea Ceramic Foundation website.
Seo Heung-sik, CEO of the Korea Ceramic Foundation, stated, "This project, promoted as part of the foundation's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management, was planned to encourage the use of reusable containers such as ceramic cups and to fulfill the social responsibility of public institutions. We will strive to ensure that the use of eco-friendly ceramic cups spreads nationwide, starting with Gyeonggi-do."
