Two Elderly Care Facilities: Mi Ta Nursing Home and Hapcheon Senior Care Center
Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 2nd that Mita Nursing Home and Hapcheon Senior Specialized Nursing Home received an A-grade evaluation, the highest rating, for the first time in Hapcheon-gun in the 2021 Long-term Care Institution Facility Service Regular Evaluation conducted by the National Health Insurance Service.
In this evaluation conducted on 5,246 facilities nationwide, the institutions were selected as the best institutions by receiving excellent scores in five areas: institution operation, environment and safety, beneficiary rights protection, service provision process, and service provision results.
Sung Byung-tae, director of Mita Nursing Home, said, “There were many difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, but I think good results came out as all staff worked together with one mind,” and added, “We will strive to provide better services so that the elderly can be healthy and happy in the future.”
Moon Ki-young, director of Hapcheon Senior Specialized Nursing Home, said, “We will make further efforts to improve the quality of elderly welfare services and pay close attention to providing the best services to the elderly.”
Kim Yoon-chul, the county governor, said, “Despite the difficult times due to COVID-19, I congratulate you on receiving a good evaluation for providing the best services for the health of the elderly through compliance with quarantine rules and proactive responses on site.”
