Korea Fisheries Resources Agency and Hana Bank Join Hands
to Preserve Marine Ecosystems
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, President Choi Jun-woo) signed a business agreement for mutual cooperation on the ‘Save the Sea ESG Campaign’ to practice ESG management with Korea Fisheries Resources Agency (FIRA, Chairman Lee Chun-woo) and Hana Bank (President Lee Seung-yeol).
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) signed a business agreement for the Sea Revival ESG Campaign with the Korea Fisheries Resources Agency (FIRA) and Hana Bank.
Through this agreement, HF Corporation will mutually cooperate with the partner organizations in various fields, including ▲practicing ESG management such as marine ecosystem conservation ▲forming social consensus on the importance of the marine ecosystem ▲raising public awareness of Sea Planting Day ▲revitalizing fishing villages through one company-one village sisterhood agreements.
President Choi Jun-woo stated, “The corporation is conducting various activities for ESG management, such as river restoration and step donations,” and added, “Through this agreement, we expect to fulfill our social responsibility related to marine ecosystem protection as a public institution relocated to Busan.”
He also added, “We will continue to make active efforts to strengthen ESG management in the future.”
HF Corporation is leading the practice of ESG management by publishing a ‘Sustainability Management Report’ that meets global standards, transparently disclosing ESG management activities and performance information to stakeholders.
