Inka Networks Holds Lecture on 'OTT Content Protection' at AWS Summit Seoul [Inca Networks, Lecture on OTT Content Protection at AWS Summit Seoul]

Inca Networks, a digital content security specialist company, announced that it will present on OTT content protection technology at the ‘AWS Summit Seoul,’ the largest IT technology conference in Korea hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) on May 3rd and 4th. Inca Networks’ presentation will take place during the third session on the 4th.


Founded in 2000, Inca Networks has been engaged in multimedia content security and mobile application security businesses. It offers ‘PallyCon,’ a DRM SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) for multimedia content security, and ‘AppSealing,’ a mobile app security SaaS that can be easily and quickly applied without separate development resources. PallyCon is a content security solution built on a multi-region based global service architecture, verified for high performance and stability by domestic and international clients. It integrates with various CDNs and encoding/transcoding platforms for content services and features DRM video service on web browsers without plugin installation. Currently, it is used by major domestic OTT platforms such as Naver, Wavve, CJ E&M, SeeznTV, EBS, LineTV, Samsung, and LGU+.


Junho Kim, Product Manager of PallyCon at Inca Networks, will present on the topic “How OTT Services Protect Content ? Trends in Content Security Technology and Multi-Key Encryption through Media Package.” The presentation will introduce the latest content security technologies to counter hackers’ attacks and explain how to apply multi-key encryption essential for hardware-level content security using AWS Elemental MediaPackage and SPEKE API v2. As an AWS Technology Partner, Inca Networks supplies its solutions on the AWS Marketplace. The AWS Elemental MediaPackage introduced in this presentation prepares and protects video content and supports the SPEKE (Secure Packager and Encoder Key Exchange) API v2. SPEKE v2 is a program for partner DRM platforms provided by AWS. It offers benefits such as reducing infrastructure workflow complexity, improving origin resilience, and enhancing security for multi-screen content.


Junho Kim, Product Manager of PallyCon at Inca Networks, stated, “Along with the growth of various OTT services, hackers’ attacks aiming at illegal content leaks are becoming increasingly sophisticated and diverse. Through this presentation, we will propose solutions to these issues and introduce Inca Networks’ technological capabilities.”
