Crunchy Texture Preserved While Reducing Sodium in Asak Gochu, Assorted Vegetables, and Celery
Pulmuone announced on the 28th that it has launched three types of 'Bandeuthansik One-bite Jangajji,' which reduce saltiness while preserving the crisp texture of fresh domestic vegetables.
The three types of Bandeuthansik One-bite Jangajji are 'Crispy Chili One-bite Jangajji,' 'Assorted Vegetables One-bite Jangajji,' and 'Celery One-bite Jangajji.' These products use 100% domestically grown vegetables as raw materials. The vegetables are cut into bite-sized pieces for convenient consumption without the need for additional cutting after opening.
The company explained that Bandeuthansik One-bite Jangajji reduces sodium by more than 30% compared to the average of three or more manufacturers with high market share in the same food category. The products undergo low-temperature aging at below 4°C for 24 hours.
Jeong Somi, Product Manager (PM) at Pulmuone Foods, stated, "We will continue to strengthen our position as a premium Korean convenient food brand by launching new product categories such as side dishes and porridges based on the core brand value of Bandeuthansik."
