This measure was taken in response to the increased risk of traffic accidents caused by disorderly behavior of motorcycles, aiming to promote compliance with traffic regulations, resolve complaints from local residents, and prevent traffic accidents.

In particular, a special crackdown period on motorcycles will be operated, with joint crackdowns planned to continue at least once a month.

Chief Kim Jong-deuk stated, “Disorderly behavior that threatens the safety of local residents must disappear through regular crackdowns,” and added, “We will do our best to establish a traffic culture where residents can feel safe.”
