"Fixed-form professions such as judges, prosecutors, lawyers, and licensed real estate agents are expected to disappear in the near future. ChatGPT should be understood as a tool that reads the rapidly changing future at the speed of light."
The Gwangju-Jeonnam Venture Business Association announced on the 25th that it held the 19th Venture Forum on the 24th under the theme "The World Changed by ChatGPT."
Park Young-sook, CEO of the UN Future Forum, who gave the keynote speech, introduced the latest trends and application cases of ChatGPT, which is attracting attention as a representative of AI and the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Park presented keywords for the future society such as artificial intelligence, networks, population, one-person enterprises, and outsourcing. She explained that humanity has now entered the era of artificial intelligence, surpassing the agricultural, industrial, and information ages achieved over tens of thousands of years.
Park emphasized, "Fixed things are the most dangerous. More than 100 AI tools are emerging every day, causing various industries and jobs to disappear," adding, "Since the venture ecosystem also coexists with risks and opportunities, insights that can glimpse the future market are absolutely necessary."
The forum was attended by about 70 people, including Kim Myung-sul, chairman of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Venture Business Association; Lee Kyung-joo, director of the Gwangju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency; Lim Cheong-won, director of the Energy Valley Enterprise Development Institute; Cho Jong-rae, head of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration; Joo Jae-hee, economic startup director of Gwangju Metropolitan City; and venture entrepreneurs.
Before the keynote speech, there was also a session introducing the innovation story of venture company CEO Park Se-hwan of Archi Seoul Co., Ltd. Archi Media, a media advertising platform inside stores, is an innovative intelligent media advertising platform that shares profits with small business owners.
Archi Media provides advertisers with an 'integrated advertising transmission management solution' that allows various digital signage inside stores, such as restaurant table orders, to be used as advertising media. Currently, promotional videos for the Gwangju Biennale are being broadcast on table order devices at major restaurants in downtown Gwangju.
CEO Park said, "Unlike the online advertising market, it is true that offline advertising markets such as outdoor advertising have been relatively far from innovation," adding, "In the upcoming era of AI search engines, it is necessary to maximize the advantages that only offline can have and to adopt a smart information delivery method that can complement the shortcomings of existing outdoor advertising media."
The association has continuously held sessions to share living success stories of local small and medium venture companies, as well as to introduce keynote speeches, latest technologies, products, and business items. Through this, it facilitates idea sharing and business collaboration through industry-academic-research-government networks.
Lee Kyung-joo, director of the Gwangju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency, said, "The conversational AI chatbot released by OpenAI last year is becoming a hot topic. Because of this, there are even forecasts that the search market, represented by Google, may disappear," adding, "We will continue to join forces with the Gwangju-Jeonnam Venture Business Association and the Energy Valley Enterprise Development Institute to promote programs that provide insights to local companies."
