Jeonbuk Gochang Cultural City Center announced on the 25th that it will publicly recruit 'Cultural City Cultural Activists' to facilitate the smooth promotion of the cultural city and encourage active participation from residents.
This recruitment is for the Citizen Promotion Group (50 people), Citizen Monitoring Group (30 people), and Citizen Evaluation Group (100 people).
Applicants must be residents of Gochang-gun aged 19 or older who are interested in the cultural city. Applications can be submitted on-site or online by the 1st of next month.
The Citizen Promotion Group will serve as project managers at cultural city project sites, mentors for resident-proposed projects, and intermediaries between administration and the private sector.
The Citizen Monitoring Group will evaluate the project process, assess participant satisfaction, and identify areas for improvement, while the Citizen Evaluation Group will review proposals for cultural city public projects.
Selected cultural activists will undergo orientation and capacity-building training and will be active at various cultural city project sites starting in June.
The Gochang Cultural City Center stated, "Cultural activists, including the Citizen Promotion Group, are key agents in creating Cultural City Gochang. We ask for residents' strong interest and participation to expand the citizen governance system."
