Creation of Infant-Only Nursing Room and Pregnant Women’s Lounge at Yatap Station Financial Center
Hana Financial Group announced on the 23rd that it has opened the first "Hana Mom Care Center" at the Hana Bank Yatap Station Financial Center in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, to overcome the low birthrate and aging population crisis and to promote a culture of win-win finance.
The Hana Mom Care Center is the second project supporting the "2023 HANA Life Journey (人生旅程)" following the launch of a preferential financial product for families with multiple children in April to overcome the low birthrate crisis. Utilizing spaces within group affiliates such as Hana Bank and Securities, the center has established dedicated nursing rooms for infants and toddlers and rest areas for pregnant women, which will be open and operated for all women, including Hana Financial customers.
The first center is located in a residential and commercial complex area near the Bundang Line, offering good accessibility, and was set up at the Hana Bank Yatap Station Financial Center, which has many female customers. It is planned to expand nationwide in the future. The operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the center includes ▲stroller storage ▲two rooms for pregnant women’s rest and infant nursing ▲baby food zone ▲diaper changing zone ▲open kitchen.
The infant nursing rooms are equipped with sofas, tables, baby beds, and electric breast pumps for the comfortable rest of infants and pregnant women. The baby food zone is furnished with baby feeding chairs, and the diaper changing zone is stocked with diaper sheets, baby wash, lotion, and wet wipes. The open kitchen provides ▲a washbasin ▲bottle cleanser, bottle brush, and bottle sterilizer ▲microwave for thawing baby food ▲water purifier with hot water function ▲coffee pot, enabling parents to manage infant supplies.
Additionally, the center plans to continuously maintain a comfortable and hygienic nursing and care environment by using eco-friendly materials for infants, a heating and cooling system to maintain appropriate temperatures according to the season, and air sterilizers.
Ham Young-joo, Chairman of Hana Financial Group, stated, "Low birthrate is a major social issue that finance must actively consider and take the lead in addressing. We established the Hana Mom Care Center following our support for win-win finance for families with multiple children to practice more proactive and sincere social responsibility." He added, "We will continue to provide generous support to create a foundation for more active communication and mutual growth with society."
