Earlier in January, Kyochon raised a total of 240 million KRW in support funds and collaborated with three organizations?the Korea Local Children's Center Federation, the National Local Children's Center Council, and the Korea Child Welfare Association?to provide chicken snacks and educational programs for children at child welfare facilities in Gyeonggi Province, Gangwon Province, and Daegu City.
The Kyochon Barugo Volunteer Group provided education to children at local children's centers in Gangwon Province to improve proper awareness of visual disabilities and spent time directly practicing sharing by making braille tactile word cards used in the learning of visually impaired individuals. The 'braille tactile word cards' consist of Hangul, pictures, and braille, serving as educational materials that visually impaired children can learn braille by touching with their fingers.
A Kyochon F&B representative said, “It was a meaningful time to support sharing education and experiential activities for children at child welfare facilities and to awaken the true meaning of sharing,” adding, “Going forward, Kyochon plans to take the lead in conveying the value of sharing and fulfilling social responsibility through various sharing activities.”
