Overall Lunchbox Sales Up 70% Since Launch
Jeongchan Lunchbox Scheduled for Release Next Week
Seven Eleven announced on the 21st that more than 2.5 million units of the four types of 'Juhyunyoung Bibimbap Lunchboxes' were sold in one month.
The best-selling product at Seven Eleven this month was the Juhyunyoung Jeonju-style Bibimbap Lunchbox. Following that were the Juhyunyoung Crispy Bulgogi Bibimbap and Juhyunyoung Spicy Pork Wrap Bibimbap. Since the launch of the Juhyunyoung Bibimbap Lunchbox, Seven Eleven's overall lunchbox sales have increased by 70% compared to the same period last year. Considering that the lunchbox sales growth rate was around 35% in January and February this year, this is a significant jump. Seven Eleven attributes this success to the effective use of Juhyunyoung, who is at the center of MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) trends, as the model.
Next week, Seven Eleven plans to launch a full-course lunchbox featuring Juhyunyoung called the 'Hambak & Budae-bokkeum 5-Item Lunchbox.'
A Seven Eleven representative said, "As the Juhyunyoung Bibimbap Lunchbox gained popularity among the MZ generation, many young customers requested the release of a full-course lunchbox," adding, "We will continue to introduce various Juhyunyoung lunchboxes that meet the demands of MZ generation customers."
