"Kkeutjang" products are exclusive planned items selected based on annual sales data to meet high customer demand for fresh foods, supplied at the lowest prices of the year compared to competitors. In addition to regularly stocked items such as radish and green onions, seasonal products like cucumbers, which have higher demand in summer, will be operated flexibly.

Lotte Super made various efforts to introduce the "Kkeutjang" products. Generally, Lotte Super only operates products that meet the highest grade standards, but for "Kkeutjang" products, they operate high-grade products that are slightly smaller in size but have no difference in taste or nutrition. To achieve this, vegetable product planners (MDs) visited auction sites daily to reduce product costs. Livestock MDs purchased cost-effective parts such as hind leg meat and loin trimmings suitable for stews and stir-fried pork, and operated pork belly and front leg meat with the skin attached to reduce labor costs.

A Lotte Super official said, "The 'Kkeutjang' products that help control prices were made possible by the newly reorganized distribution structure based on integrated purchasing between Lotte Super and marts," adding, "We will continue to introduce products to more stores and do our best to stabilize food prices at the dining table."
