Lotte Mart has captured consumers' taste buds with a unique ramen combining green onion kimchi and ramen noodles.
On the 13th, Lotte Mart exclusively launched the unique collaboration product "Paldo Saemine Kitchen Green Onion Kimchi Seasoned Ramen (4-pack)," celebrating 'Lottky Day,' a collaboration between the ramen brand Paldo and the seasoned food master Sempio.
Since launching "Ottogi Open Sesame Ramen" in 2020, Lotte Mart has been strengthening product competitiveness by developing differentiated exclusive products such as "Paldo & Haechandle Beef Brisket Doenjang Stew Ramen" and "Paldo Beef Bone Perilla Seaweed Soup Ramen." Each product received positive consumer responses, selling over 50,000 units within a month of release.
The newly released Paldo Saemine Kitchen Green Onion Kimchi Seasoned Ramen reflects the latest trends in the collaboration boom leading the ramen market. Inspired by a recipe combining ramen and kimchi to emphasize a refreshing taste, it adds the flavor of green onion kimchi, which has recently become a trendy food through various entertainment shows, to ramen. To perfectly replicate the taste of green onion kimchi, it was developed based on Sempio Saemine Kitchen Chive Green Onion Kimchi Seasoning, a convenient kimchi seasoning that completes kimchi simply by mixing without the need to pickle vegetables. The sharp aroma of green onions and the spicy, tangy flavor of the green onion kimchi seasoning maximize the broth's flavor, while Paldo's noodle-making technology adds a firm texture. Lotte Mart is offering a 1,000 KRW discount when paying with event cards until the 26th to coincide with the product launch. Various promotions are also being held at Lotte Super and Lotte On's Lotte Mart Mall. Korea Seven will also start selling the product on the 19th. To commemorate the product launch, Lotte Mart is conducting a 1+1 promotion on six types of Saemine Kitchen Kimchi Seasoning.
