Damyang-gun Cultural Foundation Recruiting Participants for 'Cultural City Injakdangso'

Roundtable Discussion Where Damyang Residents Themselves Identify Issues and Find Cultural Solutions

The Cultural City Promotion Team of the Jeonnam Damyang-gun Cultural Foundation announced on the 17th that it is recruiting participants for the 2023 Damyang-gun Cultural City Agenda Discovery Table, 'Cultural City Injakdangso.'

'Cultural City Injakdangso' is a project that supports roundtable discussions where groups active on the theme of Damyang directly discover agendas.

Through three rounds of roundtable discussions, agendas are discovered and concretized, and the final agenda is selected through the 'Field of Weaving Thoughts' for selecting Damyang's core agenda, sharing activities by each group.

Participants can discuss freely on topics related to Damyang, such as Damyang's culture and daily life, community, climate environment, care, welfare, sharing, and in-depth idea discovery.

Additionally, meeting minutes and activity logs must be submitted, and at least one member of the group must attend the 'Field of Weaving Thoughts.'

Any citizen residing or active in Damyang-gun who wishes to co-create the cultural city Damyang can apply.

Until the 31st of next month, 20 groups of three or more members will be recruited, with up to 100,000 KRW provided for material costs and 100,000 KRW for activity expenses.

In particular, considering participants' willingness to engage, the 'Dambit Citizen Group' will be selected to establish a sustainable participation structure as the main actors in executing Damyang-gun's agendas.
