To actively respond to welfare demands arising from low birth rates, aging, and social isolation, the district set the vision of 'Seodaemun Happiness 100% Life Care' through public-private collaboration since October last year and has been establishing and implementing a comprehensive welfare plan tailored to the life cycle of all residents.
A district official stated, "To enhance the effectiveness of policy implementation, the execution capability of welfare service provision on the ground is crucial, so we prepared this opportunity to raise the mindset and policy understanding of stakeholders regarding life care services."
On the day, Professor An Mu-eop from Hallym University’s Department of Emergency Medicine gave a well-received lecture titled 'Smart Life Care Based on Digital Health Community,' focusing on organic connections among health, medical, and welfare services for life care through case studies. Attendees also watched a promotional video about Seodaemun District’s life care welfare policy.
Mayor Lee Seongheon said, "For Seodaemun District’s life care services to become a systematic welfare policy that warmly embraces residents’ lives, a thorough understanding of the policy is essential. I hope this training leads to strengthened job competencies and improved execution capabilities in the field."
