The tournament is being held over four days starting from this day at Ferrum Club CC in Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi Province. On the official practice day, the 12th, the Mibo Range by FlightScope, unveiled for the first time in Korea from around the world, was installed at the Ferrum CC practice bays.
The Mibo Range is a launch monitor that tracks the ball using Doppler radar and allows users to check 27 data points through the FS Golf application on iOS or Android devices. Players participating in the tournament checked data such as carry distance and strike accuracy through the Mibo Range inside the practice range before the main competition.
A ShowGolf official stated, "Through FlightScope's Mibo Range, we expect to provide KLPGA Tour players with reliable ball and club data to improve the quality of their practice," adding, "We will establish a data-driven golf culture domestically through the Mibo product line and expand opportunities to experience FlightScope to help more golfers improve their skills."
