The number of new COVID-19 cases has exceeded 10,000 for four consecutive days.
As of midnight on the 7th, the Central Disease Control Headquarters reported 10,735 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 30,894,559. The number of new cases decreased by 1,349 compared to the previous day (12,084). Compared to a week ago on the 31st of last month (10,368), it increased by 367, and compared to two weeks ago on the 24th of last month (10,277), it increased by 458.
From the 1st to the 7th, the daily new cases were 10,523 → 9,724 → 4,349 → 13,375 → 14,465 → 12,084 → 10,735. New cases have exceeded 10,000 for four consecutive days. The average number of cases over the week is 10,751.
Among the new cases on this day, 17 were imported cases, and 10,718 were domestic community transmissions.
